Steve Donner graduated summa cum laude as a pre-law scholar earning an Honors Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in criminal justice with a minor in Russian from St. Louis University. Steve also earned his Juris Doctor from the St. Louis University School of Law. During that time, Steve worked with Ameren UE specializing in a variety of energy commodity contracts and site lease agreements. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as an entrepreneur for a sustainable energy company.
Steve has started numerous 501(c)(3) organizations, won over 20 regional and national scholarships and has published and presented articles nationally. His former professional experience includes serving as a legal extern with the U.S. Attorney's Office, clerk for the Honorable Paula Bryant, consumer division law clerk with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Victim of Crime Assistance intern with the St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney's Office, appellate clinic legal intern and research intern with St. Louis University. Some of Steve's favorite sports include tennis and golf. In addition, Steve enjoys camping, hunting and fishing near his home town of Troy, Illinois.
