Her passion to advocate for the rights and needs of her clients stems from the years of
experience she gained practicing public interest law where she gave a voice to those who
were often ignored. Karyn has served as a Guardian at Litem for the Office of the Public
Guardian in Chicago, Illinois and as a Prosecutor for the Lake County Prosecutor’s
Office in Indiana. She has also represented clients in bankruptcy proceedings and family
law matters such as child custody disputes and dissolutions. Karyn has participated in
numerous hearings for criminal, civil and administrative matters. She attributes her
success to not only knowing the law and being prepared, but to also working closely with
her clients to obtain the desired outcome.
Karyn is from Indianapolis and received her undergraduate degree from Ball State
University and her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. Karyn is
licensed to practice in Illinois and Indiana.
